our foodWe’ve been making delicious food in Australia for over 40 years now and at Sara Lee we believe that the food recipes we make should be the best they can be.

All our recipes combine generous amounts of the very best ingredients – from Australia wherever possible. We use fresh eggs and our fresh cream comes from specially selected Australian dairies. We only use Australian flour and the best seasonal fruits and vegetables we can find.

Our dedicated team of pastry chefs and bakers are passionate about making our recipes the best they can be, and we make from scratch everyday to deliver what we believe are the best desserts, ice cream and savoury foods in Australia.

The apple harvest was completed just before winter, and we’re making our delicious Apple Pies, Danish, Crumble are with the best Pink ladies and Granny Smiths we‘ve sourced from around Australia.

Much of our supply comes from Family run farms throughout the Orange district of NSW. Generally the family run orchards are on the decline as younger members of the families seek more secure and regular incomes in the city areas, but family orchards still have a strong lifestyle appeal, so it’s unlikely they will diminish altogether.
